Overview
This policy explains what information Jversity collects when you use jversity.com, why we collect it, and how it's handled. Jversity is operated as a single-instructor live Computer Science program — we collect the minimum information needed to run cohorts and communicate with students.
Information We Collect
When you fill out the enquiry form, we collect:
- Your name and email address
- Your phone number, if you choose to provide it
- Your preferred batch language, batch type (weekday/weekend), and class time
- Your educational background and what you hope to achieve in the program
If you sign in to the admin dashboard (instructor access only), Supabase Auth sets a session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not collect payment card details on this site — enrollment payment is arranged separately once you register.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information you submit to:
- Contact you about the next available cohort and enrollment details
- Match you to a batch language, schedule, and class time
- Understand your background so classes can be pitched at the right level
- Send you program-related updates if you enroll
We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.
Third-Party Services
Jversity relies on a small number of infrastructure providers to operate this site:
- Supabase — stores enquiry submissions and cohort data, and handles admin authentication.
- Vercel — hosts the website.
- Resend — sends transactional email notifications, where enabled.
- Google Analytics — may be used to understand aggregate site traffic, where enabled. No analytics data is linked to your enquiry submission.
Each of these providers processes data under their own privacy and security policies.
Cookies
This site uses a minimal set of cookies: a session cookie for admin authentication, and, if analytics is enabled, standard analytics cookies to measure site traffic. We do not use cookies for third-party advertising or cross-site tracking.
Data Retention
Enquiry submissions are retained for as long as needed to run the cohort you registered interest in, or until you ask us to delete them — whichever comes first.
Your Rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you at any time by emailing [email protected]. We'll respond and act on reasonable requests promptly.
Children's Privacy
Jversity is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the program or the tools behind it change. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
